Cat-Amania, a committed company

Cat-Amania is aware of the impact it can have on its environment. As part of its CSR policy, the company implements social, environmental and societal actions every year. Cat-Amania responds to its socio-economic environment by prioritizing local partners and small businesses, which is what we mean by societal commitment. Cat-Amania also involved in community projects.

Cat-Amania’s main commitment

Sponsorship: Restos du Coeur

Since 2017, Cat-Amania has dedicated part of its earnings to sponsorship. This budget was used to set up a corporate sponsorship for the benefit of the Restos du Coeur National Association. In response to Restos du Coeur’s need to modernize its operations, Cat-Amania volunteered to participate in the charity’s digital transformation. For this purpose, Innova, our R&D program, has established practical actions to support the national charity’s IT team in the transformation of its intranet solutions.

Community commitment: Duo Cat-Amania

Duo Cat-Amania is a duo sailing race that takes place every year in the Gulf of Morbihan in Brittany, France. Cat-Amania has been involved in the race for several years and became its main sponsor in 2014.
Committed to the nautical world, Cat-Amania considers this race to be the perfect representation of the values it promotes: Joy, Perseverance, Respect, Audacity and Trust. More than 10 years of cooperation have created a long-term partnership between the company and this wonderful sporting event.
In 2020, the Duo could not be held due to the health situation. However, Cat-Amania continued to support the associations who organize the race so that they could continue their nautical activities, especially the sailing lessons for the children.

Our 2020 commitments

1 parrain 1 emploi

For the very first year, Cat-Amania donated computers in good condition for domestic use to the 1 parrain 1 emploi (“1 sponsor 1 job”) nonprofit based in Nantes, France. The nonprofit’s goal is to help young graduates find employment in the region. Over time, the nonprofit has continued to respond to local needs and now recovers computer equipment from companies that can no longer use it for professional purposes and gives it to people in need (residents of priority neighborhoods, people with disabilities, women returning to work, etc.).

Transmad

Transmad is an NGO for international solidarity involved in the development of infrastructure in villages in Madagascar. Based in Nantes, Transmad operates in France through a network of small local nonprofits. Cat-Amania has donated office equipment and furniture from its Nantes branch to the nonprofit in order to help Transmad in its work. The donations have included computer equipment such as screens, keyboards, computer mice, as well as telephone equipment and office furniture.

Our 2021 commitments

Among our innovative themes, our sponsorship for the 21st century involves modernizing the services that we can offer to the nonprofits with whom we wish to establish partnerships for 2021. We are taking action to increase the number of partners with whom we collaborate.
